Organized 1985.

No area restrictions.

The Deer Sam Chapter was chosen "Chapter of the Year" for Utah in 2007,  and they are showing off their new gold shirts to celebrate, with Chapter of the Year 2007 embroidered on each one.   They boast 22 couples in their Chapter.  The Utah Deer Sam's Chapter proudly display some of the 134 pounds of pop tabs they collected for the Ronald McDonald House in Salt Lake City, Utah.  They recently held a contest to see who could bring in the most tabs in one year.  Prizes were awarded to 5 winners.  There are 1728 tabs in one pound.

Winter Meeting Schedule: Once a month we meet for Dinner or Lunch. The two couples  in charge select time, date and place.

Summer Campout Schedule: Once a month we meet for a 2-4 day campout at various campsites.  In October we draw for the turns. Two couples, decide where we go,  when, and what we do.

Once a year our club tries to plan what we call a "Special Event", which includes a week long trip to a fun place to camp and travel around seeing special sites and new activities. We have had some spectacular times doing this.  In  September 2004 we went on a trip to the Escalante Staircase area and the town of Escalante.
